I’m talking about Blissdom ’08.

I’m talking about the brilliant minds behind Blissfully Domestic.  Hello, Alli & Karla!

I’m talking about the genius behind the One2One Network.  Hello, Barbara Jones!

And, I’m talking about the generosity and brillance that is Epson.  (Seriously, that is one cool printer you have created.)

I was admittedly nervous about attending this event.  Walking into a room full of women whom you’ve never met, but read all about on their fabulous blogs can be a little overwhelming for this Newbie.  Yet, I am here to tell you that I am so glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone and met such fabulous women as Jamie of BlondeMomBlog and Ashley of Mrs. 007.  I got to hang with these cool ladies all day, and it just so happens that we are each practically neighbors!  If you haven’t discovered them yet...well, you must!

Some other discoveries that I had the privilege of meeting include the lovely and talented Arianne of To Think Is To Create, Rebecca of Ramblings by Reba, Jessica of Live Beautiful, Moriah of Please Pass The Salt, Joie of Canned Laughter, Amy of Milk Breath and Margaritas and Kat the Sassy Irish Lassie.  And I most definitely want to give a shout out to Kelly of Mrs. CPA.  She just so happens to have the cutest baby girl and I got to hold her!  Thanks Kelly...my “clock” is officially ticking now!

And so was Blissdom’s as we all settled down to the business of blogging; and I am here to tell you that these ladies know their stuff:

1. •Not only are Mrs. Fussypants and Velveteen Mind hilarious, they are all about R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me.  It means, “Respect Your Brand” and I am thanks to Alli and Megan! 
   

2. •Thanks to Karla of Looking of Towards Heaven I am all Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far, far, far away from here and go redesign my whole blog.  If you don’t hear from me, that’s where I shall be! 
   

3. •You might also find me flying over to The Nesting Place and begging The Nester to please, please, please come decorate my home you lovely lady!
   

4. •Then I just might risk the jet lag and fly, far, far away over to Tsh of SimpleMomBlog, who is making my quest to live a simple and quiet life a little easier every day. - and -
   

5. •As for pure genius and tenacity...when I grow up I want to be Lynn of ClickNewz.  Lynn, you had me at “Hello”.

If you missed out, I hear rumors of a Blissdom ’09 in February...it’s kind of like Nashville with a tan.  And if you know the song to that lyric, then you must come!  Just keep your eyes open and your ears to the ground at Blissfully Domestic and you too can benefit from these great minds!

Now, I’ve got to go put into place everything I’ve learned.  Will someone come feed my husband, while I fly far, far away into the depths of Wordpress?  You’ll find me there singing with Jessie Baylin, the next huge star!
